My research centers around the complexity and heterogeneity of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, with a particular emphasis on understanding the underlying genetics. With bioinformatic and statistical approaches, I delve into large-scale genomic, neuropathologic, and clinical data to gain deeper insights into these complex disorders. Recently, we analyzed brain autopsy data from over 10,000 participants, identifying novel genetic factors that are linked to specific types of damage.
